GO910 TRUCK - problem. Need HELP

HI All.

I've tried to do GO910 TRUCK with Navcore v8.396.1914.1, but it doesn't work.
I've done it like I normally do GO520 or 720 but with original GO910's LoquendoTTS.
System patched, map patched.

Result.
Device is booting.
Goes to splash screen then freezes.

What files are wrong or missing?

Your truck map is ??? Confirm there is a meta.dct & a tmeta.dct file in the truck map folder.

Map is Europe_TRUCK_v845_2649
Unfortunately it is patched correctly. :(

Try a hard reset (Hold reset button for 30sec) followd by the tomtom clear flash tool if you still get the same arror roll back to 8.395

Did you copy the mapsettings.cfg file into the truck map folder?

The map is from this forum and doesn't contain mapsettings.cfg file.

btw.
Works now on navcore 8.395, but it is not enough for me. It must work no 8.396!!! :)
Still do not know why did not work on 8.396.

Maps do not come with a mapsetttings.cfg file. This file is generated by your unit when you enter info like home location, favorites, etc.

yes that's true, but my tomtom freezes on splash screen, so there was no chance to generate. mapsettings.cfg

What ttsystem file was you using ??? as there i sno SE version on this site and i dont think you can just patch the ttsystem for your unit go910

that's the point I'm using ttsystem patched by yDGpatch. Works OK.
Keygen 4.1D doesn't see device plugged to USB port.

For navcore version 8.395 I used SE ttsystem from this forum. Works OK.

That is your problem 8.396 is not meant for a GO 910 so just patching the ttsystem will not work it will cause statup problems , you need a SE version so 8.395 is the newest you can use untill a SE version comes about for 8.396

I've just used Easy Activator to get into my device and patch ttsystem, but system still hang on splash screen.

Give this patched 8.396 ttsystem a go.

I told you in my last reply you can not use 8.396 because the navcore is not intended for your device so patching the ttsystem will cause startup problems you need a SE version and there is not one available for that navcore yet that i have
