Go920 and Europe 910-4892

Don't worry, it's okay.
It's understandable that you are getting nervous and somewhat impatient if you're trying hard to process a lot of information on unknown territory and you don't succeed. Yet...

But don't take big steps.
With some guidance you will get there and it will start to make sense to you.
You will be given help.

Please be advised that there are three 'meta' files.

meta.txt and/or Updated_meta.txt which is used by fastactivate and which you can (or have to) copy into your map folder.

Europe-xxx.meta; this file is part of the map download and is in the map folder

Europe_xxx.meta.dct <-- If you have this your map should be patched (if meta code is correct)

Nope, just FastActivate & a ttgo.bif file, as stated in post 11, point 3!!
Exceptions: If you are running FA on a SD/SDHC card, and run FA option 1, the fresh meta.txt file will be download to the map folder. Also if you create a meta.txt file, it goes in the map folder.

Open your ttgo.bif file with notepad. Copy the contents into a PM to me. Also zip up & attach a copy of the Europe 915 meta to a post in this thread.

Hello,

I have now attached the zipped up file to the post but it says Europe 817 although I downloaded Europe 915 in 5 parts from the maps v9xx

Hello,

I certainly seem to be missing something or doing something wrong since I tried a different map (Europe East) and I got the same error message.

Don't worry about the mentioning of 817 in the Europe_817.meta file.
That does not mean it is not the v915 version of the Europe map.
