Is there a way to get a GPS Quick Fix update without using TT Home? I have a Go 720 with a Nav and map on a SDHC card and would like to copy the latest files to the ephrem folder using a card reader.

Are you aware that you can put your card with a complete navcore & map setup in your card reader & TT Home will update it with mapshare & QuickGPSfix just like it does for the device.

You are Welcome. Tell your friend that he can get a USB to Mini USB cable for a couple of $s to replace his lost dock.
