It is an altimeter, that displays your height above sea level.

As you are a truck driver all you need is the truck map and the truck navcore latest navcore is 8.395 and map is 840.2554 then bridge heigts( whiich iis what you thought height 14 was ) will not be a problem 4 you.:yahoo:
