Help needed with voice activation

Hello everyone,
Not sure whether I’m in the right area, but I’m a new XXL 540S user and going through hurdles just so I can hear Sylvia’s voice. Followed all the advice I found so far with no success. I started by downloading Sylvia voice from this forum. Than copied the extracted files to the voice directory on the device. Than downloaded the FastActivate (new one) and ran it from the root. It gave me all the right messages when activating the voice, however after rebooting the device the map became unusable and without a map can’t go further. Restored the device and ran the FastActivate from within the voice folder. Maps remained good but the voice is not even visible in the voice selection menu. Tried AutoActivate with same result! Metadata is the most recent (this month) and was placed in the root as well as in the voice folder one at the time, both at the same time and one location vs. the other with no difference at all. The Metadata seems to have the string needed for the voice. Operating the device from PC works, but I guess it’s irrelevant.
At this time, all I want (or wanted) was Sylvia’s voice. My maps are fresh no need to activate. I kinda know my way around computers, but it seems I’m missing something…
Any help would be appreciated.

To use Sylvia's voice, you must patch it, AND you must patch your navcore & map.
