Help on Radar alert pics

Postby dmtycn » Tue Jan 10, 2012 11:59 am

Hell all, as you know, French Gov forbidden the Radar alert for it's position, but in TOMTOM, after the sound alert, it will display the distance on the screen, this is not legal; but if I can change the pics to "zone of danger" withou Rader Logo and distance, it will be OK according to the anouncement of French Gov.

So the questions is : where can I find these pics to show the distance of Radar?

Thanks in advance.

You can use third party cams and with them you might be able to change the pic to an elephant or so, but not sure if the police would be so blind to mistake an elephant on the display for a speed cam...

OK

The new rule is: GPS can not indicate the position of Radars (currently TOMTOM tell you 200M / 100M / 50M ahead a Radar), but GPS can alert the danger area that may be a Radar .

To be validated by others. I choose to close it and drive according to limitations.
