Delete the ttgo.bak & ttgo.ori files. Disconnect & reboot. Reconnect & run TomTom Current Configuration {13.11.2011} again. Post the results here.

Current offical navcore for your 720 is 9.510, which I am using.
Nothing shown for "current map" tells us that either your new map is not installed or it has not been patched.

no map installed (as far as I know, my 2 gb intern memory uses only half a gb now) I just d/l Europe (full) (from here), whe in the site can I find out how to patch and/or install it?

Did you try reading the instructions inside the first posting of the map thread?
Did you check our tutorial section?
Did you check thread with similar requests?
If the answer to any of the above is "yes" than you must be doing something wrong ;)
