Postby jeanmarc33 » Mon Sep 26, 2011 1:28 pm

Hello,

I downloaded the 875.3615_Installer for my tomtom with navcore 9.061.576030.2
All is good i have the map and a lot of satellites when i'm outside (8 satellites) but when i plan a race(even outside) i lost ALL satelites and it's very long to conclude planning...

I don't remember i lost all satellites and it was so long before, what is the problem?

Thanks

1. 875.3615 for what area?
2. Planning should not have any effect on your reception. Have you done a QuickGPSFix update lately?

1) For western area ( this one : Western_Europe_875_3615 with Automatic Installer & Patcher )
2) when i plan a race, the Gps calculate( xxxx road analysed xxx km),on the right it's written 0 satellites and the gps calculate a long long time especially for long way.And before/after planning i have 8 satellites but 0 during the plan!
I have the latest quickgpsfix update...

1. Are you aware that the 875.3615 map does not have IQ Routes or ALG? 875.3671 does have both.
2 How are you seeing the 0 sats during planning?

1. Yes. You have an IQ device. Might as well have an IQ map installed in it.
2. Thanx for the pix.

The chart at the top explains what maps have what features, The last bit of the number, ie, V875.XXXX when looked up tells you what features the map has.

Maps are navcore specific, not device specific.
All New Maps 875.XXXX posts 1 & 2 contain everything you need to know about maps. The first item in post 1 is a compatibility chart. The first column contains the different versions of the current 875 map edition. The next 3 columns show the features in each version. The remaining columns show which navcores are compatible with which maps. The remainder of posts 1 & 2 lists the map versions that
are available for the different countries and/or areas. You look up your desired coverage, note the versions for that coverage, then check the compatibility chart for the coverage versions that work with your navcore.
