Postby tugaviciado » Wed Mar 23, 2011 12:13 pm

Hi!

I need some assistance to update my tomtom 930 map.

I downloaded map 865.3245 Europe.
I eliminated the original map in my tomtom device and copied the new map. Then I ran fastactivate and clicked in map and ttsystem button...

I disconnected the device and when I turn it on it says it have no maps but when I used the tomtom home2 I able to download the updates and it says that I have the Europe map :(

Thanks

If the map is on the internal, open your 930 in windows explorer. Open the Europe 865.3245 map folder. If you see a single folder titled Europe 865, cut that folder & paste it in the root of your 930. If you see instead, a folder and numerous files, look for a Europe-297.meta & a Europe-297.meta.dct.

If the map is on a card, there must aslo be a copy of your ttgo.bif on the card when patching the map.

Can you take a screen shot of the root contents of your 930, zip it, upload it and PM me the link?
