Should the card be a higher class for more speed? Could I remove some cspeech files in the map section for the states I don't need? Would that speed it up? Another problem now. Every time I try to change the voice in settings the device just restarts without letting me do anything. Samantha TTS voice is also not working. What's up?:wallbash:

What NavCore were you using?

No, that's not true. If you want to dissable TTS, type ttsoff in setconfig.txt. If you want to enable TTS, just delete the ttsoff line (there is no ttson).

9.026. Appears there was a problem with it. 9.051 appears to be fine.
If it ain't broke don't fix it!

I have found from my experiance that 9.026 is the best navcore to use on widescreen devices on the whole i have coached a lot of people to get this version and other versions working, i am running 9.101 (I will add it to latest navcore thread soon) but i still think 9.026 is the best ;)

I'm sure you're correct. All I can say is 9.026 ran verrrry slowly and 9.051 works normally for me.

Were the setconfig.txt files the same, otherwise it's no fair comparison.

well honestly, im not super happy with...
its works, but NAvCore 9.051 was picking up satellites faster!

Like i said, on NAvCore 9.026,
i often have to re-plan my route so that it finds the satellites.....

The only difference in using NAvCore 9.051 is that you loose the Auto Day/Night switch....
Which for some reasons, doesnt even work for me right now on NAvCore 9.026 anways....

So overall,
i dont mind because its a feature i can live without
as its easy and fast anyways to switch between Night and Day mode....

As long as my Bluetooth works,
and it does on NAvCore 9.051,
im happy!

Everything is working fine. 9.051 did the trick. I want to thank all who helped me with this. You can now mark this thread "Solved."
