Switch to full style

OK, I'm being stupid here, I already had that one downloaded locally, I'd previously tried it and decided to move on.

It runs fine, and the 'Switch File' Icons is a pretty cool touch. I couldn't get the MP3 player to do anything other than hiss though. Might be a 32mb thing?
Again, Squashed Menubar problems.
Below is the Picture of the three Options. X40, X30 & X20 (in that order).

I think the Dark Mierielle Release is a better option than all of these. I don't think it was originally meant to be installed over the 9.051 I'm using (9.051.xxl2009_tts.CAB-navcore-XXL.cab) Clearly not designed for a crappy old V3.

I'll try some later releases with Mirielle on top and see what happens (this is where i brick it eh...).

If you downloaded the 9.026 in "self" mode than it should work fine and for this version the other emulations won't work.
Only the full and X50 versions offer all emulations.
But for small screen devices with 266mHz and 32mb Ram the best choice ist still a V8 Navcore.
I always prefer a good working Navcore over something that might work but crashes when I need it most.
The ME editions should wourk fine but not for all devices and you have to play around with the model ID's to get the result you want.

Fair enough. I've tested the 9.026 in "self" mode. Works OK, still comes up by default with the Twin menu bar.? Cheers

First off can I just thank you all for your help. My TomTom is sorted and working fine with the new navcore and map. Cheers!

Second, I have another small problem.
My girlfriend has the TomTom One 3rd edition (1GB) and she tried to update it the same as mine.
Now when she searches for an address by postcode it only allows the first 4 characters to be entered, which is pretty useless.
I was just going to put it back to its original state but she’s deleted a few files and the original navcore without backing them up. Is there any way I can set the TomTom back to its original state when it was bought? If not, is there any way I can fix the problem?

Hi this is an easy fix no need to restore the navcore back, Download this file here [Please Register or Login to download file] inside the archive there will be 4 files You want to extract the 4 files to a folder in the root of your device called zip , then you will have full postcode search back ;)
