I am running out of time tonight and need the tom tom for work tomorrow.
Is there a fast way to download maps and navcore because i still have to make it work and im unsure on how to do it.

Truck maps for a 720 i need.

Download Truck Map and autoactivate from here:

Download Navcore 8.398 from here:
http://www.navitotal.com/showthread.php?942-Navcore-V8

Put navcore on 4gb SD Card
Put map on SD Card
Whilst connected to computer run autoactivate

Free & fast don't go together. For a fast download, buy a Premium account.

Appreciate the links, I have managed to get it to work for now with the old map, will continue next time.

I know you are out of time, but you didn't accomplish anything by just upping the navcore.

I accomplished a working tom tom for today but no sound on speed cams and not even a warning of a low bridge, I didn't hit the bridge by the way..lol.
Will need to update the map next.

What map edition do you have installed?

I had it as europe truck 2010 but looking on the satnav it says it's 840.2554.

Did you set up the warning sounds in Main Menu?

It wouldnt do it earlier but i have done it now, will try it out tomorrow.
not going to spend much time on it at moment as i need a later map, but it takes ages to download.
Maybe as you mentioned pay for the privelage, might be the only way.
