A friend wants some POI's added to his TomTom start, but when plugged into the computer, the device wont show up.

I have put the memory card into a card reader, but the only file that shows is TOMTOM.000.

How can I open the file to make the alterations wanted?

Any chance that it is a Start20, if so use MyTT to add POI's, there is also a tool to trensfer content from old TT to a new model.

Is your friend aware that there is NO (current) way to manipulate/crack/patch/copy/clone or otherwise modify his Start20, which is run through MyTomTom (as Downunder mentioned) rather than TTHome.
