How to extract activation codes from maps (meta.txt)?

Postby binao » Thu May 05, 2011 2:18 am

Hi everyone. I would like to know how to extract activation codes from maps (meta.txt).
How some people can find these codes and provide for all? Is there any program to do this? You have to open some file from the map? What folder or archive is this?

Thaks.

You can only do it with maps that you have bought from TomTom for your device.

Is there a reason that you need to do this, or do you just want to know how?

1. My friend, yes you replied, but you didn't answer the question. Do you have a map that we don't have & want to share the meta with Navitotal?
2. Not without a good reason.

No is this. Whenever Tomtom provides a new map is always someone who provides the code for the map right?. How does this person get this code? How to do that and make available to everyone?
I want to learn and be able to provide for everyone too. But if it's uncomfortable, keep quiet, forget it. I'll look elsewhere.

Thanx for you willingness to share, but it is not necessary. Save the money you would spend on buying a map.

Tendriver perfect.
I really liked your answer.
Binao creates many doubts about his good faith, just as he asked.
