You only need the .mnu file placed in the folder SDKRegistry.

The most easy way is to place a folder called SDKregistry in the root of your TT. Unpack the file Attached and place the folder with it contest in the root . Start up and it should be working
If you need coordinates then you have to use the Mireilla file. Unpack it and copy the files to the root of the TT. Overwrite yes. See link

You are not talking about a map!
You are talking about the tomtom.mnu file inside the folder SDKRegistry.

Of course you can talk about the .mnu file, but I was meaning the complete folder SDKregistry. In the tutorial it is about an SE version. I understood that lostboy has the original NC on the Start. Then you have to place a folder SDKregistry in it and you don't have to alter the setconfig because you don't have it.

Not map, it is a folder.
A map shows you the way.

Or the SDKregistry folder or the Mireilla files . Not both. I suggest try first the SDKregistry.

no that is not possible. That is one off the limitation. To pass that problem you have to use the Mireilla method.

holyhead, it was not so much as a fix just a quick non technical work around.
renamed SDKRegistry then fired tomtom back up, old menu appears, so i selected the custom cursor i wanted ( a motorcycle) then reconected cable and un did the rename of SDKRegistry, now i have full menu on start and my custom cursor.

The whole point of this operation was to turn it into a tomtom rider style satnav, with bike splash screen, bike cursor. lol if only i could get the winding roads option.
