how to get text onto chinese map   

how to get text onto chinese map

hello,
i have a chinese map (885.4179) onto a go750 blue&me (nav 9.016).
how can i do to have on map text indication (town, roads...). does i have to change the navcore with a chinese keybaord or if exist another way.

You need the files
chinese3.ttf
and pinyin_keyboard.dat
for asian language support.
The files can be found in any NC supporting it, like the 9.450 for example.
Add the files to the root of your device and give it a try, I have not tested it myself as can't use asian maps.
Not 100% sure if it will work but it is the option at this stage.

hello,
thanks for answer.
it works well with the two added files (for a chinese guy..lol)
but i want to get latin alphabet not a mandarin one.

AFAIK that is only possible for a few maps as most asian maps don't include latin characters.
