How to inform TomTom of route errors?

How can I inform TomTom when I discover one-way roads and no-through roads which their maps are not aware of?

By checking your manual and using the map correction function provided on your device ;)

Had you got any particular name in mind to 'call them' ? ... "slow" ? or "deaf" maybe ?

On average, it appears to me, it takes around 2 years for maps to be updated to include road layout changes. There is a major traffic feature that was built near my home almost FOUR years ago, that has yet to appear on a TT Map!

Save your effort (and the cost of the call) and don't hold your breathe while waiting !!

You have to keep in mind that TT is not changing the maps ;)
TT gives the collected infos to the map provider (Sensis, Teleatlas...) and they include them after checking.
The only thing that works faster are corrections you make on your system, but they are gone with the next map.
Basically map share is a help for the user to report errors to the map provider.
As an example there is a road here in the bush that for the last 10 years has a gate that says "private acces only" with a big padlock on it.
But since Sensis refuses to update that without a proper not from the australian autorities it stays unchanged.
Not sure if there are similar problems in other countries though but I think it explains quite a lot ;)

Skip TomTom & report direct to Teleatlas.
