how do i load a map   

how do i load a map

Can anyone please help! i have downloaded the latest map for my A go 910 and copied it into the root but when i try and turn on my device it says no map found and when i use tomtom home and navigate the device i select the map and it says it needs activating? please can anyone help

What map & navcore do you have? Have you patched both of them?

i have western and central europe 2gb-170 and have downloaded and instaled fast active v1.7 app 7.903 (9183/040301) os:1000
gps v1.21 boot 1.0012

Based on the info here, you have W&CE 850.2834 & navcore 7.903. This map & navcore are not compatible.

Go here: TomTom Automatic Navcore Installation Read the instructions carefully. Select SE_Navcore.9.051.503855_32mb_devices.rar
