How to optimise a map

Postby bondy99 » Mon Mar 18, 2019 12:13 am

Hello,

Does anyone know how to optimize a map?

I have a TomTom XXL540 and was going to use an Australian Map 1025_9381 it's probably not designed to use for my device but would like to give it a go and see if it does.

I don't have any experience in optimising a map, if someone can provide me with instructions it will be appreciated.

Regards.

What you mean with optimize I expect activate a new map.
And if you have no experience in optimising a map why in the past you place a remark if you don,t understand it.

holyhead

The section below has nothing to do with optimisation. different kettle of fish.

I know how to activate a map, this has nothing to do with optimising.

You've done it yourself in the past but obviously you've forgotten it

All you need to do is compare the fully featured Australia 1025.9388 map to Australia 1025.9381 and delete all the extra files from the 1025.9381 map
