After a full windows backup, try the SE x50 navcore from http://www.navitotal.com/forums/showthread.php?5464-Current-SE-8.398-TRUCK-WORK-navcores-for-other-devices

This may or may not work but try & then let us know

Till now those new satnavs from TT are impossible to crack. Maby in the future. But the 1000 and 1005 with the same system are more then a half year on the market and stil no luck about cracking. Maby in the future perheps.

That is one reason why we say : a bit of research before you buy saves you time, trouble and often money.
If anyone needs truck features on a TT than the 520,530,720,730 are still the best option.
You get a fully compatible device with all hardware features working.
A second hand or refuribished device often costs less than these cheap, gagged low level TT's, - mho
