How to update TT GPS version?

Postby maan1001 » Sat Apr 30, 2011 6:57 am

Hi. I had a TT XL with 1gb flash and my co-worker had new TT XL Black Edition with 2gb memory. He accidentally brake his device screen and the device was useless because in my country they dont repair these things. I got my hands on it and tought, why not change screens. I did it and now screen works fine. I formatted my new device (previosuly it had 8.083 navcore with almost a year old map). I noticed before formating that it had GPS vs 1.21. Tried 9.054 navcore but it didnt work, so i put back 9.004 (been using this for a year now) and DE_AT_CH_and_Eastern_Europe_865.3245 map. Wroks perfectly :) only thing is that the GPS vs is now 1.20. How to update GPS version? Does it come with some navcores or something?
Thanks.

The files for that are in the Navcore but you don't have to worry about 1.20

As Downunder said, "you don't have to worry about 1.20".

FYI, I have 1.20 on my 720.

No one except TT could tell you the difference, and since the only thing that matters is that your TT works fine, you can really leave it alone.
Just checked and my 730 uses the 1.20 as well.
