From Europe, first of all a good morning. Have been trying to update a older TT One with a larger (8Gb) memory card. However I can't make it work. Installed Navcore 9510 DSA, later after a couple of resets the Benelux map 975.7685, using Fast Activate, wich worked with a .dct file, but.... the card could not be read by the Tommy. I did not get the remark that NO maps were found on first insert of the navcore. Hereby the essential BIF section for your conveniense:
[TomTomGo]
DeviceName=TomTom ONE
DeviceVersionHW=ONE (v4)
DeviceSerialNumber=
DeviceUniqueID=
RamDiskVersion=20081205
BootLoaderVersion=53029
LinuxVersion=2344
ApplicationVersionVersionNumber=7903
ApplicationVersion=9183
UserLanguage=Nederlands
UserName=
Kindly requesting your expert advise how to make the card (formatted FAT32 to start with) work.

I don't realy understand how the PM messages are sent, but believe should upgrade my bootloader to 55022, however I don 't realy remenber how that works. Correct me if I am wrong: Replace "system" with the "system" in bootloader 55022, and insert the card again in TomTom One.

System is a file which works like a BIOS update.
You have to put a v5.5022 (or higher) into the root of the internal memory or (in absence of internal memory) on a SD card <= 2 GB.
Then restart and you will see a short image of an hourglass and 'please wait'.
Only after this your 'old school' TT will be able to read your sdhc SD card >= 4 GB.

Thanks a lot for your info. Had the same thought but wasn't sure if that was the correct way.

You're welcome. I have no doubt you'll able to get your map working.

The bootloader upgrade doesn't work, as the original BL 93022 remains on the system. Navcore I used is 4.NC9.510_DSA_voices_UK_Vocalizer.NLASR_Lane.
Any other suggestions to get this Tommy working???

First tell us what you did in some detail.
Pay attention to give us correct specifications. 93022?

Now I see the following:
[TomTomGo]
RamDiskVersion=20130404
BootloaderTarget=s3c24xx
Bootloaderversion=5.5279
LinuxVersion=842337
ApplicationVersion=1234792
And in the linuxscreen is shows as 33029....?
Besides that I don't have a BIF-file on the card. Hope this may be enough, if more is needed I'll pass it on.

Don't use your PC for specifications. Do not use USB cable.
Reset your device and press on/off switch until you hear TT drum and you see white text on black. See what the bootloader is in that screen.
If you restart your TT it will (or should) create ttgo.big. At each restart.
If BL is >= 5.5022 your job is done and you can use sdhc SD card.

Checking bootloader (the only reliable method)
Enter a device reset 15 sec.
Then turn on the device and hold the start button until you
get info screen. Which bootloader is there.

Now after pluggin the tomtom via USB to my laptop I get a message saying "its not accesable), maybe a dutch friend could translate this in EN. F is niet toegankelijk ( "F" being the TomTom One)

On the black DOS screen I read 53029 after holding the startbutton pressed. My eyes are not that good anymore
