To use Europe 870.3406 you will need to get a 4GB SDHC card.
To use a 4GB card on your 300, you must upgrade your navcore/bootloader to 8.300/5.5015 or higher.
If you wish to continue, please advise.

Download & unzip this attachment. Copy the unzipped "system" file to your 1GB card, overriding the current system file. REBOOT your 300.This will update your bootloader to 5.5128, so you can use a 4GB card.

Download & copy the Europe 870.3406 map to the new card.
Put a copy of your unit's ttgo.bif file on the new card.
Go here: TomTom Automatic Navcore Installation Read the instructions carefully. Select SE_Navcore.8.412.1236_32mb_devices.rar
Unzip & run this navcore package to the card. The navcore is prepatched. The Activator in included in the package should auto patch the map. With the card in the unit, REBOOT.
