You can do it using the Tyre program:

Thanks for the reply, I've just realised my tomtom rider can not been recognised by my pc. When I remove my sd card from tomtom and place that into pc all is well , when sd card is still in tomtom it asks to connect and is then not accessible via any program(tyre, mydrive) File explorer shows it but can not access it .
Any ideas
Thanks

Yes, this is true of all newer devices built after September 2012 that use the My Drive software...there is nothing you can do about that, there is more about that on the following link:
topic8690.htmlApologies, I didn't realise it was one of the new ones...in this case see the official TomTom support video about how to import *.GPX files:

Can I put gpx file directly onto sd card? if so ,do I create a new folder?

Update, my device only updates through tomtom home as is K2 serial number. It was my other tomtom go 500 that uses drive. Downloaded home but still can not get the rider to connect

TBH, I don't know as I've never used *.GPX files myself...was the YouTube video of no use?

unfortunately no, it is for mydrive. I can download files and manually put them on my sd card, but the rider can not see them.
Never mind, at least I have an up to date sat nav that works.
Thanks for the advice

In that case you should use the Tyre program

I have tried Tyre, but the program does not see my rider
