Tomtom 7 is never going to work properly on this device and I wouldn't bother with the mortscript mapsettings hack as it introduces a whole new world of problems, take a look at primo 2 instead.

I recently bought a Chinese 7" that has iGO8 installed with 2009 maps. I would like to update the us maps without paying an arm & leg. I have tried several options from this forum, but keep getting directed to download sights that appear to want you to download their software. Is there an easy way to get newer maps without downloading software my computer is telling me is not known to be secure? Am I living in a dream world?
