Install a new card on a unreal tt device?

Okay,,

I want my uncle to help with a new card to put on them
Now is a good but simple navi total activator made.

Umm my question is as follows.
He has a navigation system but not tomtom itself.

I had a tomtom device via the Internet with other systems, navigation software you find here as IGO, navigon etc found on the navigation so that you could stop and if it worked.

But now he wants is his update folder, there was already a folder there but an old folder.
So now he wants a new map put out by me.

But first I want to know if it is possible.
Because all files are basically what you normally find in a NavCore there also.

So basically it might just go to the folder tts patch + patch with the activator card?

What device do you have ? what Operating system is it running ? WinCE or WM or Other ? You can run TomTom on a WinCE device or WM device, but the navcores for this is outdated and the latest is a v7 navcore , you can run the latest maps but they are only basic maps with no IQ Routes ect

If you have already got the tomtom folder on the GPS you can update the map easily just delite the old folder and put on the new one and run AutoActivate, but make shure the map is compatible with the navcore version in our map chart

So whats the best map than to use it?

He wants west and central eu + if there is one good solution of maps for bosnia and hercegovina?

Hi, What version Tomtom navcore should I use for a chinese Gps running windows 5.0 with 128mb ram and 4gb microsdcard.

There is no Navcore for any Windows system.
A Navcore only works on Linux.
What Windows do you have? Please be specific as Windows 5 is not really an OS - There is CE 4.2, CE5.5, WM 5 and WM 6 for the most common ones.

I saw the new 855 maps, can i use one of the new maps ?

Western europe 855 for this device is not avalable yet

These maps is compatible right now:

Western Europe 850.2782 [1.67GB]
Western Europe 1GB 850.2783 [918MB]
Europe 2GB 850.2801 [1.60GB]

All 855.2931 look others compatible chart..

Are there west and central maps for the device?

If you no longer require the map then yes you can remove it

For so far, dos the map works fine for my uncle.
But if there is a problem, i will send a PM to one of the mods/experts..
