remove the [color="Red"]Western_and_Central_Europe_2GB[/color] folder

Yes is that map your old map, like i said in a previous post you can remove your old map and put this map folder on your device Western_and_Central_Europe_2GB_845_2645

Yes i dit that, i am not stuppid.
My old map is 1.6GB, en the new map requiers 1.9GB.

1 option is to remove any cspeech files that you don't need.

You are looking at the wrong thing. In the 2645 map folder there is a cspeech_xx.dat file for each country included in the map. Remove the ones that you don't need.

where can i find it than, because i was looking for the map but cant find it..


PS: if i remove my old map, i have 1859mb of free space, and the new card is about 1,8GB.?
For the new map, i need still 28,2MB requierd space..

Rite lets start again , how big is your internal memory and is there an sd card slot ?? tendriver was talking about the cspeech files in your map folder take a look at my pic below, you can remove any that you will not need

My internal space is about 2GB (1945.0MB)
I dont have a SD-CARD slot to bad, next-time i buy a new tomtom i will buy it with a SD-CARD-SLOT.

Uhm realy cant find that kind of files, in what kind of map are in put ?
Because i posted a screenshot of my tomtom in the internal space...

Ok i suggest you start the upgrade again, i refer you to post [color="Blue"]#8[/color]
Western_and_Central_Europe_2GB_845_2645 will fit on your device, if you cant work out what is taking up/wasting your space on your device i suggest you delite everything from the device first and start from scratch, but take a look at your unit again, Western_and_Central_Europe_2GB_845_2645 will definatly fit on your device it is meant for 2GB devices and those cspeech files are inside the [color="Blue"]MAP [/color]folder

i checkt, al maps for that kind of files, but i dident find that kind of files. Only one thing in maps: Western_and_Central_Europe_2GB.tlv
but i cant find anything else.. what will happen if i will delete the voices
and if that works can i put the dutch voices only on it
ad i must be sure that i can find the dutch voices somewhere

The Dutch voices are nrs. 14 and 15. You can delete the rest.

Your Cspeech-files are in your countrymap. On your device it's called "Western and Central Europe 2GB". You can replace them by Dummy-Cspeech files.

I deleted all the voices, but i have a nother map named:

But its not import to me, is it important to the device?
Because when i click on in, are some stupid cars:

Not really. Just some fun stuff. You can use them instead of the blue arrow. You can delete them if you want.

WHEN YOU LOOK AT the 2 pictures of low battery can i remove them to??
