xl internal drive showing 0 bytes

bought a broken device of flea ebay to tinker with, it comes up as a drive on my pc but its showing 0 bytes and i cant transfer anything to it,i take it the hard drive is busted can they be replaced??

Have you done a hard reset & Clear Flash?

no to clear flash, by reset you mean holding down the power button, if so yes and i just get the tom tom boot up screen

has no memeroy card slot its the 4.3 screen xl one gig memory

Reset your device XL 330
Press and hold the On/Off button until your device restarts. This can take more than 30 seconds.

got the drive on my pc now clear flash tool doesnt see it as a tom tom device attached is a picture of the drive and properties

The pic is showing 100& usage with 0 bytes. Just for grins, run "Error Checking" under the Tools tab in the pic.

I hope the seller has a money back policy. If not & the internal memory can't be repaired/replaced, looks like you have an expensive paperweight.

i knew it was been sold as not working and figured it was software issue, but didnt pay that much so i may try to get a new HD for it if its possible, if not ill put it back on for spare parts only screen is ok etc etc
