Hi.I have tomtom one xl 4s00.006 32mb device.Im found good navcore 9.058 .I have 9mb ram free and if im put computer voice i have 6 mb free.Problem is tomtom home.I can operate device in tomtom home but if start home I see you have invalid version of tom aplication.Im change line in ttgo.bif and save in ttgo.bak

ApplicationVersion=9369 and if home start aplication update required Im press update and i see aplication for tomtom one xl. And i dont want for one xl because i have navcore 9.058. What i have to do. Sorry for bad english.

Have you rebooted since you created the ttgo.bak file? Open the .bif & .bak files. Confirm that lines 9 & 10 show 8010 & 9369.

Yes Im reboted and ttgo.bif and ttgo.bak file show in lines 9 & 10 8010 & 9369. But one more file was created and it is ttgo file and lines is

ApplicationVersion=568435.1
so tomtom home still show me invalid version of tomtom aplication.

Delete the ttgo.bif & ttgo.ori files disconnect, then reboot.

In done this but again ttgo file was created vith lines ApplicationVersionVersionNumber=9058

Im format sd card now and tomtom home offer me download aplication size 8248 kb Version 6.594
I dont have version text in device

TT Home will continue to update your navcore, 1 version at a time, until you get to 8010. If you reload 9.058, use 8014 & 9372 in .bif lines 9 & 10 to create a .bak file.

but if i pres updaate no higher aplication me offer only voices. Ok now Im format sd card and put navcore 9.058

Ok.Now i have bif file in navcore 9.058 .I dont know if i have to rename this ttgo.bif file or leave ttgo.Im make copy ttgo file on desktop and rename ttgo.bak .Now im change line 9 10 8014 & 9372 and save.Copy to sd card. I dont know if I have to change line in ttgo file??before im reboot.

To fix version error.
Open the ttgo.bif file with Notepad.
Replace lines 9 & 10 with these:
ApplicationVersionVersionNumber=8014
ApplicationVersion=9372
"Save as" ttgo.bak
Disconnect & reboot.

Ok but vhen I want save as ttgo.bak Save as type text document or Save as All files ??

Text document should be fine, but I prefer an editor like Notepadd++ as you don't get this confusion with it.
Just check if the extension is still bak and not .bak.txt - that can happen with a few editors, if so just rename it to ttgo.bak
