yes i have a ONE XL 1 gig just trying to make it the best it can be ioi i know i mad bu i'm a disabled man with time to spare it has the same map still But would love to update the whole package ;-) x

Can your TT do GREAT things?

I don't manage your expectations and don't know how insane they are but, yeah, your XL can run the latest v920 maps.
Especially if you'd install Downunder's insane Universal NavCore Installer for XL devices you can run the elaborate versions of maps like the 920.5241 with nice features like ALG, Advanced Lane Guiding.

But it would be handy if you are a little bit comfy with NC, BL, FA and maps versions.

If not, I would practice a bit with downloading a suitable and patchable map.

Do some reading and pose your questions here.
Read, learn and follow instructions to the letter and you will get there with help.

Yes, but let's take it slow & keep it simple for now.
1. Download & unzip United_Kingdom_and_Republic_of_Ireland_920_5267. Remove your old UK&ROI map folder from your XL. Copy your new UK&ROI map folder into your XL.
2. Download & unzip FastActivate Latest Update. Copy the FastActivate.exe file into your XL. Run options 2 & 3 to patch the new map & 8.010 navcore.
3. Done! Disconnect & reboot.

Scroll, if necessary, toward the bottom of the LinkSave.in page, that opens, until you see "The visitorpassword that you have entered is wrong" notice.
Below this notice, is a gray box titled Visitorpassword. Type navitotal in the gray box & click enter. The download link/links will be at the bottom
of the page that opens. Use the single downward pointing orange arrow, for single part maps or arrows for multi-part maps, under the word "Download" to download the map. DO NOT CHOOSE “ALL PARTS”
A FileFactory window will open. Scroll to the bottom of the page. Click the red "Slow Download" button. You should get a 60 second timer. When the timer runs out, a new window will open. Scroll down to the red "Click here to begin your download button". Uncheck "Download with FileFactory's download manager". Click the red " Click here to begin your download" button. Your download should start.

Or use Jdownloader and simply copy the link into the clipboard...
