Just looking to update maps on my TT-XL N14644

Postby SiCkSTi04 » Sat Sep 15, 2012 11:27 pm

Hello everyone,

I am finally looking to update my XL to whatever latest maps I can get for USA - if I am limited on choice, I live in Florida. If it's recommended to update my device firmware or Navcore I can do so as-well if that will make my unit perform better some how. The information on here is a little mind blowing for me but can follow directions if someone is will to help and point me in the right direction.

My specs from the ttgo.bif
(TT-XL N14644 - Internal space ONLY: 2GB)

[TomTomGo]
DeviceName=TomTom XL IQ Routes Edition
DeviceVersionHW=XL IQ Routes Edition
DeviceUniqueID=XXXXX XXXXX
RamDiskVersion=XXXXXXXX
BootLoaderVersion=55277
LinuxVersion=842337
ApplicationVersionVersionNumber=9430
ApplicationVersion=890926.2
UserLanguage=English US
GPSFirmwareVersion=2.16.201 77382
CurrentMap=USA_Canada_and_Mexico_P
CurrentMapVersion=835.2460

Thanks!

Your navcore is the newest & best there is.

If you have no need for Canada or Mexico, then United States 2GB 895.4438 is current & the best there is.
Remove the old map folder. Copy in the new map folder. Patch map & navcore with FastActivate 1.8.9.0. Disconnect & reboot. Done!!

You are Welcome. Enjoy!!

For future posts, the Produce Code N14644 is no help to us. Just post the ttgo.bif specs, like you did in post 1.
