Just check the map chart in the latest map thread (950 or 945 maps).
Check if, for the map of your choise, a meta code is available, if so download and follow the instructions to get the map working.

Which map did you install? Did you confirm that the map has a meta code & is usable? Did you patch both map & navcore?
BTW, maps are navcore specific, not device specific. The only device factor involved in new map selection is it's available storage capacity!!

ok got it to work, there was a problem with the laptop could not open fastactivate , got navcore 9.150 map 950.6492,
