Latest maps for TT7150

Hi Folks,
Does anybody know how i go about downloading the latest maps for my TT7150pro? My current maps are 01/2012 v8.85 and could do with updating. From what i've been told normal Tomtom don't support 7150pro's?

The ONLY WAY, to get a new map for your 7150, is to buy it from TT. Read this: Important note for new Tomtom models like VIA, Start20/25, Go1xxx - please read!

Thanks for the reply. I've attempted to purchase the latest maps through tomtom'a site without success. Once ordered I was unable to download to my device, after a phone call to TT they said my device wasn't supported and that they only deal the car nav's. After a phone call to TT business which passed me back to General TT site they decided to give me a full refund.
Any ideas on how I might update my maps?

By using the "MyTomTom" application for PC/Mac, instead of "TT Home".

Thanks for the reply, I've also tried this option and it won't work. All they seem to support is normal car maps and TT business just don't want to know. Ive got to the point where I've purchased the maps and they are ready to download, however when I try to transfer to my device they won't download.

1. Since you can't do anythng with the new models, our data base on them is just about nil.
2. Any chance that your AV/Firewall program is blocking the download?

Hi tendriver,
That could be a possibility. All other updates seem to update without a problem, so I can't see why this won't update my device?
I've spoken with the firm who sold me the device and they said as a stand alone device you can't update maps as only car maps are supported by TT my drive/home.
