I am not suggesting that you use 9.051. I am only advising you that 9.XXX navcores, starting with 9.051, are very RAM memory friendly.

Correct. Automatic Installer is geared for noobies, that have trouble with the conventional way. It loads the Outsourced folder & Switchfiles.zip, which my 64MB RAM unit doesn't need, so I don't use it. I currently have 17.1 free RAM with 9.205.

Just checking... Automatic Installer removes/overwrites previous nc files? So no need to delete anything?

Yes it does overwrite should ask you to confirm, but if you got lack of memory problems , you might be better off deliting all the contents of the TT first but after you back them up

I meant lack of free RAM problems as he said above without Outscorced folder he has very low memory so this could be conflicting files

I confirm that lack of free RAM WAS creating problems, hence use of Outsourced folder.
Won't be able to check out 9.205 before the weekend, but will report back then.

A lack of free RAM isn't creating problems, instead, a problem is causing a lack of free RAM. The low free RAM on your 910, with navcore 9.051 & above, is not normal.

I have used both of these Navs and found the 9.205 to be slightly smoother and quicker and has worked faultlessy, but the 9.026 was ok but I havent gone back to it.

I have no idea what the free RAM was with 9.051 - didn't bother to look as I immediately (within the hour) went back to 9.026, last May at the latest. So "IMHO my statement: The low free RAM on your 910, with navcore 9.051 & above, is not normal. is correct & valid." is not relevant to a 910 with navcore 9.026.

Installed 9.205 using "ALL In 1 Automatic Installer" with default x40 mode. Ten+ MB free RAM. Looks fine in house, will 'road-test' tomorrow.
