Latest Navcores 8.398 pre patched dump links not working

Fri Sep 02, 2011 1:27 pm

Hi,

Am after putting tt truck on a friends 710 but none of the links are working for BD's pre patched 8.398 dumps...

Pre-Patched Working Dump 8.398 for X00 & ONE XL
Pre-Patched Working Dump 8.398 for X10
Pre-Patched Working Dump 8.398 for X40
Pre-Patched Working Dump 8.398 for x50

Can somebody please renew them or give me an alternative? Would the normal 8.398 navore be okay on this device? Thanks.

If you have a problem with a link you either post it in the corresponding thread or contact the uploader.
If you would include the post other people might have a chance to know which files you want without using the search.
Opening a new for that is completely unnecessary.

Please give this [Please Register or Login to download file] a try.
Unpack the archive to the root of your device, already patched.

Okay, thanks. I will try that as we ended up going with the normal 8.398 http://www.navitotal.com/forums/noref.php?url=http://download.tomtom.com/sweet/navcore/8.398.go_work.CAB-navcore-GO-WORK.rev1.cab
and that seemed to work although I have since got a message to say it's stopped working.

The thing that I wasn't sure of is that on this device, there is no onboard RAM, it is card only. So how do you go about getting a copy of the ttgo.bif file for use on the card? I ended up using the ttgo file off another satnav, an xl (which just so happened to say go 710 in the ttgo.bif file) and it worked! Not sure I did the right thing there. Thanks.

If the ttgo.bif is not from the device the activated maps can not work.
A ttgo.bif on a SD only device will be created after the first successful start and after that after every start even you delete the file.
