Location too slow and update trip progress too slow [Closed]

Postby leonog » Tue Jul 15, 2014 6:59 pm

Hi guys

I have a I have a TT One 3rd Edition(v6) with 512MB Memory and 32MB RAM.

Im using Navcore 9.510NC modified by downunder with MemoryBoost and the maps version: 925_5439

When I try to get my location, it gets super slow and takes forever and when i'm on the road when it says to turn and etc it's super slow and due to that I got lost several times.

I know that if I use the original navcore 8.010, i start the gps and immediatly acquires the location.

There's anything I can do?

Use 9.485 Navcore and 930.5563 maps. Used this on many TT1's and never had a problem.

I tried your ideia and it didnt work

Here are my details:

Any ideia on what might be?
Tried many different navcores and the only one ok was the original

When I use a 9.510 ou this one it takes forever, but I really mean forever to get my location and during the trip it gets so slow that I miss the exits and get lost.

i installed the latest official navcore and will use the latest maps

So you can close

Thanks

dieselman, i tried the 9.485 nc with memory boost, in my gps, but the location identification is way slow.

I put my gps outside the windows for like 15minutes and it didnt even get a signal (with the 9.485 nc with memory boost)

Then I formatted the GPS and tried the original navcore with the latest maps and works like a charm

When I start the GPS it already has gained my location

The only other solution I can see, is maybe if you could copy your gps data to a file, send it to me and I would test it, to see if it's some kind of bad configuration or something properly misconfigured

Did you do an "Update my device" quickgpsfix each time you changed the navcore?

Yes

Through the FastActivate and the TTHome

Wich QuickFix update should I use? TTHome or FastActivate?

EDIT:

Guys nevermind

Im gonna use the original navcore

Is faster, reliable and I can use the latest maps

So, no worries

Thank you for your hard work and dedication
