LoquendoTTS help needed

Postby Macca-009 » Wed Nov 17, 2010 7:44 pm

Hi guys..
GO 710, N/C 8.396 (DSA Version), Truck Map 855.2926 and I cannot get the LoquendoTTS / Computer Voices (and hence ASR too) to work. The Navcore seems not to 'see' the computer voices.

The LoquendoTTS folder that I'm trying to use is the one that works perfectly on the same 710 with the 9.205 Navcore. Could it be that the Truck Navcore requires a different version or have I just missed something?

There is a DSA thread, but we don't really support the tool.

Yeah I found Downunder's thread but it's 'locked'. I've PM'd him with the query, but am going to keep trying to solve the issue anyhow. BTW, a 715 is winging it's way across the pond from SoCal as I type! I'll include pix as well as data when I've got it to bits! It was an interesting idea and was perhaps the 'missing' USA Truck unit since TT appears to have sought FCC approval for it.

Well, that's a 'different' solution....

It was a faulty SD Card ... the computer voice files LOOKED ok, but in fact were corrupt along with the other files in the Louquendo folder!

"Yer never done learning" as... someone... (alledgedly) once said!
