map for Tomtom GO 750

Postby UTC58l » Sun Mar 29, 2020 3:19 pm

Hi,

I have a Tomtom GO 750 with 2 maps : Western_Europe_925_5443 and New_Zealand_875_3624 . I want to update those maps and download the last map of USA (Western)

I downloaded the map Western_US_and_Canada_1040_9867 but this map is not countable with my product !

A good guy to tell me which card to load for my product ?? :) :) :)

Thanks :023:

You can't use that map as it doesn't have a meta code (serial number) released for it...you should read this tutorial: topic19485.html

Thanks for your fast reponse :023: but news maps downloaded should work.

My meta code is 9.510 and I loaded Western_Europe_1045_10000 but is not countable with my product

First you have a problem with your clock as it remains at 0:00 and also you will be having problems getting a satellite fix...TomTom have released a new navcore to fix this:

[Please Register or Login to download file]

Backup your current system > extract the new navcore to your Go 750 overwriting all files then...

You need to activate the map and patch the navcore of your Go 750 with FastActivate that you can download from: topic19452.html

Extract FastActivate to the root of your Go 750 > run FastActivate.exe & select option 10 > then option 1 > then option 2 > finally option 3 > job done

Hi , (new day new question :) )

my two news plans (United_States_2GB_1040_9868 and Western_Europe_1045_10000) are on an SD card .
SD card is on my TomTom. (no folder maps on my GPS)

I have extracted FastActivate to the root of my Go 750 > run FastActivate.exe & select option 10 > then option 1 > then option 2 > finally option 3.

But, it doesn't work . :044:

are the cards patched on the SD card?

There is no meta code released for United_States_2GB_1040_9868 so it won't activate....try United_States_2GB 1040_9867 instead

Copy ttgo.bif file from the internal drive to the SD card and also FastActivate.exe: run FastActivate.exe & select option 10 > then option 1 > then option 2 > finally option 3 (wait a short while between each option and you should see successful messages)
