Map not detected on Start 60

Postby phantomm6653 » Wed Jan 20, 2021 9:17 pm

Hi, I followed all tutorials on how to update my NAV3 device, but still map is not visible to select in menu.

My device is TT Start 60, 12.075.3065980.94, so should be compatible with this tutorial tutorials/how-update-patch-tomtom-nav3-devices-t21959.html
Selected map Europe_1060_10567. I installed map inside SD card with R-Link.

Maybe can someone help me figure out what's wrong?

I can remember something like this with my Start 20, I then deleted everything, went all the way back via Mydriveconnect to the situation as when that Start was sold.
The start 20 is not mine, but of a very good friend who more or less gave it to me.
Without having to enter passwords it was accepted and the original navcore including Europe_West, of course the version of which was current at the time, was restored and worked normally.

I then started to follow the TTactivator procedure again and now there are 16 maps on the 32GB SDHC card.
If you strictly follow the procedure of TTactivator you should be able to achieve the same result

I think that I figured out what was my issue.

When I opened TOMTOM.000 in explorer I noticed that available space is something about 4,25GB, Europe map was ~4,5GB and probably was not copied completely. It's weird, because my card is 8GB..
When I used smaller maps everything worked just fine :)

But I am very sure that you can also use a 32GB SDHC.
I still remember something, an unreliable 16GB SDHC also refused to cooperate with me, but for now you will first look for the error yourself.
A new 16GB SDHC was the solution and then I redone the entire procedure with a 32GB SDHC card
Good luck
