little problem or maybe not
neighbour is going to western usa for holiday in next couple of weeks so I said I would put map for that area on for him save hiring satnav when he gets there, anyway, put map on and activated all ok, but when select change map to western usa it switches but just get grey screen with car cursor, no streets showing, thought that was a bit strange, so tried full usa map and selected and streets shown, tried western usa again and just grey screen.
does this mean map has problem?

No, it means that the gps thinks it is in an area with no coverage. Note the location of the car cursor using the full USA map. I'll bet it is outside of the coverage area of the western USA map. If so, Zoom out until you see land.

hiya, tried zoom out as far as could go just see grey bottom 2 thirds mini car icon and horizon, full usa map zoom out and see loads of poi's terrain etc, so think I gonna use full usa map on a separate card as don't want to take risk he has no map when gets there.

a quick update to last post, tried navigate to point on map and as usual you correct, cursor in area with no coverage, move map over and there it is, dallas, Kansas, Toronto etc, thank you again
