The effort was worth it in the beginning as everyone hoped this new "feature" has some actual use.
But it turned out TT is not interested in making progress here.
The overlays can only be in BMP format, relatively small and they only work in the 2D map view.
No use at all for the 3D view or during navigation - in that case I really prefer a printed paper map in my pocket ;)
I could update and translate but I don't really see the point anymore, it is gadget, but not really usable.

I like it also as a Gadget.
Used on my TT, with walking on off_road and sailing (see TomTom Home Overlay) Grevelingen-Oost The Nethelands
Put also all Poi's waypoints in it.

P.S My cursor on 3D, is my own Suzuki Hayabusa , 4987
and put the Sensor F1 Codes in Text MAP , Image

The TT Team really appreciates your efforts. I wish we had more contributing members like you! However, for this contribution, I have to agree with my Teammate's observations & conclusion, plus the link is not in English. I hope you are not offended & will continue to offer contributions to Navitotal in the near future!
