I have a similar problem to another member except im doing everything as stated with fastactivate and it still isnt patching the Western and Central Europe 865_3245 map which is on a s/d card

the tom tom is a 720
the application is 8351


any help would be much appreciated........

Confirm that you put a copy of your 720's ttgo.bif on the card & that you updated the Fastactivate meta.txt before patching. What bootloader is in your unit? 5.5120 is the correct one for 8.351.

I think I see my problem I didnt know I had to put the bif on the card but i did update the meta txt
so I'll try it again this time I have put the bif on the card but do I leave the bif also on the internal memory as there are no maps on there now!

Put the map, ttgo.bif file & FastActivate on the card.

didnt try that as im away from home at the min but when i get back i'll try that and im sure that will work as i didnt put the fastactivate on the card as well

last time i did the same thig i used easy activator where you do the directing where the map is and so on!
