I have try to read simalar treads on ths forum but it seems i missed something!?
After downloading the map via link on this forum is tryed 2 different update methodes

1)Delete the original map (Western Europe_1GB ) on my TomTOM and copy the new one
(Western_Europe_1GB_850.2820) but is seems to be (Western_Europe_1GB 850.2783)
When complete is used "AutoActivate.exe" placed on the root.
Result: error map noe usable on thsi device....
When i compere the original map whit the new i have notice that this is only a smal part of contents.
2)after replacing the orinal mac i only copied the files of the new map into the originale (overwriting)
Then again i used "AutoActivate.exe" placed on the root.
But the same error as in 1
What else i have tot do? to get it working.

1. The map is correct. The map folder is mis-named. You were informed of this in your previous thread.
You must patch your navcore or use a pre-patched version. You don't mention having done either one.
2. You can not mix map files.

Yes i now the map is mis-named but is de name of te map importent for corrct working?
If yes, wat's the correct name for it?
How exactly can i patch my navcore?

Instead of AutoActivate, you can try FastActivate

My answer is the same as tendrivers. i think you have not patchd your ttsystem file,

• Download FastActivate Premium edition and copy FastActivate.exe to your root directory
• Run FastActivate.exe and choose Patch ttsystem/PNDNavigator
• Now your map should be usuable if you have run FastActivate to patch map wich i think you have

Thankx to all, first time i used AutoActivate, but now with FastActivate Premium edition everinting works fine.
