We have never had a need to use them on TT units. Iphone & Android are seperate forums from TT.

We do in NZ unfortunately as can never get meta's for the other ones.
And yes that link you found is now dead...can't remember where I got mine from now, but keep looking they are there somewhere

so how does this work then , the NZ map is 30MB but the dead links are for 230MB, never had to use and android map on a tt device before

Because you are also downloading the apk, and sdcard files as well as the map.

Don't think I downloaded all that from memory, only needed one of the parts and the map was there. Mine only 29mb long. still looking but all seem to have gone now. maybe wait for the next updated ones 220.
As fatboyfun says I may have downloaded the lot and took the map only....memory not as good as it was ha ha

got 895 4463 installed and working.at 30 mb i take it these are very basic maps, anyone used them before ?

895.4463 is a full featured map, just like New_Zealand_920_5241, which is only 29MB.

You totally missed the point. combat goofwing expressed concern about 895 4463, at 30 mb, being a very basic map. I pointed out to him that full featured New_Zealand_920_5241 is only 29MB.

It's about getting meta's for any of them to work here in NZ matey. That one he chose is the only one of that set that had a meta so take it or leave it.
