i got a 910.xxxx tomtom west europe map, ran fastactivate properly.
everything is OK, mapshare excepted.
impossible to move the cursor in "mapshare preference" : stays at "strict".
the tab country is empty.
i have an IQ route, with navcore 9.510.
tthome, version 4.8. (I got a patch with this version to have the choice to download or not navcore update, I fake tomtom to maintain this version on my computer).

You do realise that your fake version might be the problem?
Before doing something like that it would make sense to check the internals a bit, doing so would have revealed that anything above 2.9xx is a bad choice.
Apart from that mapshare must be activated on the device and set up in Home accordingly.

9.510 is the current official navcore for an IQ Route. A patch to have the choice to download or not a navcore update is not needed.

What is tthome, version 4.8.??? Current TT Home version is 2.9.5.3093.

Ok I realised : i installed TThome on an other PC, wit the latest version to check if the 4.8 version was the problem : same result, no mapshare. But quickgpsfix for the 2 versions of TThome.

Where did you get TT Home 4.8?

I got TThome 4.8 from the french site XXXXXXXX. With TThome 4.8, there is a patch which allows to choose the update of navcore or not.

For quality control reasons, Navitotal does not support downloads from 3rd partys or other websites/forums.

My TThome 4.8 is confusing. So I repeat i tried withe the latest TThome version : impossible to get the mapshare, exactly as I wrote in my fisrst post on the subject.

Have you looked at TT Home, Tools, TomTom Map Share, How to Join & Map Share Preferences?

My preference is also set at "Strict". The 910 maps were released just a month ago, & my 910.4892 already has 30,479 Map Share map corrections in use!!

I solve the problem ! It was really stupid : The directory of my map was not directly under the root. I left a directetory "Westen MAP" which contained fastactivate aund the true directory of the map. I put all in order, and all is working fin
