I am new to TT's and it is more complicated than i thought..!
I've downloaded another set of uk maps with a .meta file but after running fastactivate it says no maps installed...?

1. FastActivate always works, if used correctly.
2. We can't figure out where you have gone wrong, if you don't tell what you are trying to & what you have done so far.

I erased the sd card as the TT was froze, but i had to copy all the sd files from another TT device (skoolboy error no back up).
I tried to use fastactivate to activate the maps but it didn't work.
i tried downloading a auto installer and patch set off maps (it as this forum as password). but this didn't work either.
I'm just trying to get the device up and running. it's only the map issue. I tried to download more maps but all i got was a .dlc file. Hope this helps.

1. Is the ttgo.bif in post 1 from your unit or the other TT device?
2. A copy of
your unit's ttgo.bif file must be on the card when patching.
3. What password?
4. What map & what navcore?

The ttgo.bif is from my device.
I have just installed navcore 8.412.1236. I couldn't find out which version i had before.
I am just trying to find a map that will work with this navcore. I didn't think it would be this much trouble..!

Every 865 map will work with navcore 8.412, except the following 4:
865.58
865.3244
865.3254
865.3298
