micro sd card with adapter

Has anyone used an adapter card with a micro sd card in a go with the sd card slot with any luck or must you use the normal sd card.???????:)

FWIW (and the TT mods will correct me if needed since I have no experience with the TomTom GO)
A microSD-to-SD adapter can cause errors, but not necessarily.
I know of (iGO) users who have had bad experience using an adapter, while others did not. So there must be differences in either the adapter or the card readers.
You can try, but my advice is to use a normal sd. For what it costs....

I had an adaptor break in a device once but other than that there's been no issues.

Had to take the device apart to get it out but the microsd was fine, It split all around the contact area and wedged itself in tight, Sandisk as well!!

Was going to go down the micro route as they seem to be more popular
but dont fancy having to fish it out if it goes wrong
