Mio Navman M300

Sat Nov 19, 2011 11:29 pm

Hi guys,

I have just registered here and it seems to be a great site, have had a look around etc etc and have now tried to do a friends sat nav, i have done my own tomtom before and a garmin etc, but he's gave me this navman m300.

After a bit of reading on this site and grabbing a couple of files, I have unlocked it, got the blue desktop but thats where it ends, I did think i was getting the correct software, one link does not work anymore but I did get it from another, I also grabbed a UK and ROI map for it plus an fast activate.

I put these on the root of the satnav (no sd card for this device) and then disconnected the usb,
i went to the file manager as suggested, and found the navigator directory, found the tomtom navigator exe file, but when i go to run it i get the this device cant run this ce application or words to that extent.

Am i doing something wrong, maybe the wrong software and wrong map for this device or will it just not run tomtom maps on it.

Can someone please put me in the right direction, links etc, so that I can have another bash at this tomorrow.

I appreciate im new here but I have tried to do it without asking first as I do like to try first but now im stuck, im guessing its either the wrong software for this device or tomtom will not run, any help will be appreciated

Use the version of Tomtom from this thread...

Any later versions of Tomtom don't run that well on Mio Moov's

I have just tried to run it on this(Mio Navman M300) device and the result is the same: "TomTom Navigator is not a valid Windows CE application"

Is there any way to solve this issue?

Thanks :)

Some devices need to have the executables compressed with UPXShell...

Download [Please Register or Login to download file] and install.
Start UPX Shell.
Click Open file/Open.
Navigate to Tomtom Navigator.exe.
Click Compress.
Select UPX 2.92b from the drop down menu.
Click Go.
