I have just installed map 880, and I was wondering if it is possible to copy over my facourites pois from the 870 folder to the 880 folder, which files do I move over....?

Your personal destinations are in the file mapsettings.cfg
All additional POI's consists of at least two files: *.ov2 and *.bmp for some you also find a *.ver
The * stands for the name of the POI
