I have done a search for this on here, but it has found anything. So, does anyone know if there is a way I can save my favourites as a poi ? I have :
ttgo.bif:
DeviceName=TomTom XL IQ Routes Edition
DeviceVersionHW=XL IQ Routes Edition
DeviceSerialNumber=
BootLoaderVersion=55277
ApplicationVersionVersionNumber=9510
ApplicationVersion=1234792.2
CurrentMap=United_Kingdom_and_Republic_of_Ireland_930_5563
CurrentMapVersion=930.5563
ttnavigator.bif:
DeviceName=TomTom TOMTOM
DeviceVersionHW=TOMTOM
DeviceSerialNumber=
BootLoaderVersion=10012
ApplicationVersionVersionNumber=8414
ApplicationVersion=1239
CurrentMap=United_Kingdom_and_Republic_of_Ireland
CurrentMapVersion=835.2419
Thanks

Okay, have not tried previous suggestion. Might be excellent though.
But it's fairly easy to make your own POI category containing your (kind of) favourites.
The exact menu item names might differ somewhat but the procedure should remain the same:
- Go to Change Preferences
- Go to (second screen) Manage POIs
- Add POI Category
- Choose name e.g. My Favs
- Choose Marker symbol
- Add POI
- Choose (new) category
- Now you can enter an address, location or choose one of your current favourites, recent destinations or whatever.
- Select it and add it with a new name to your own liking (incl. telephone number if you so desire)
THAT'S ALL FOLKS !

What are you trying to gain by doing this?
Do you have any idea why you have a ttnavigator.bif file?

One thing to be gained is the removal of the size limit of 48 favourites.
It's also easier to move or share the poi file.
What does the existence of the navigator file indicate?

NOPE!
Why do I want this? I have at least 200 railway access points to remember, a few more than the 48 favs on tomtom. Saving them as different poi's would make life easier for ME. Didn't realise it was a problem.

It isn't a problem. You are the first to ask about this, & for FFR, I wanted to know why.
